His email message:
Just a short note to all of you in the class, whether you are going to
the reunion or just live in the Brigham area - It will be a great
privilege for me to treat each of you a ride in my plane over your home
in Brigham or Honeyville or Willard or wherever at no cost to you. I
love flying her and I want to share this experience with any of you who
wish to do the same. I will even let you take the controls if you wish
and dare to take the plunge. I have had some people in the past say they
don't want to fly in a plane that is open cockpit, as if to say that
they feel they are going to fall out without a top over them. There is
no comparison to the exhiliration you get in an open cockpit plane. And
it is as safe as any other standard closed cockpit plane - perhaps more
so.
The announcement states I will provide rides by appointment. I
prefer to know when to be at the airport for the rides but for those of
you who prefer to see others fly before you take the intrepid step to do
the same, I will commit to being at the Brigham airport located 3 miles
northwest of Brigham on the road to Tremonton on the 27th and 28th by
7:30 a.m. Early morning flights are always easier to handle when the
heat is less and the air is calm so I will be there from 7:30 until noon
those 2 days and at other times as required for those who make prior
arrangements with me as requested in the reunion announcement.
Thanks and hope to see you there,
Mike Braegger

ReplyDeleteMike,
That is a very sweet offer. I hope you get a lot of takers on that. I won't be attending the reunion as that is my anniversary date and Sherry and I will be way out of town. I wish all of my class mates from '67 a wonderful time. I still live in Willard, my roots are deep here and I'm sure I will die here. I have already purchased my burial plot! I'm not planning on filling it too soon however. I love life!
For anyone giving a crap, I have a web site, www.bearsbutt.com, don't forget to put the "s" after bear or you will end up at a porn site.
Enjoy!
